The 78th Independence day marked A Milestone Moment for Environmental Initiation and Stewardship by Manikam Ramaswami College Of Arts & Science!

MRCAS was honored with “Green Champion Award – 2023” from Government of Tamil Nadu for the groundbreaking efforts towards environmental sustainability by planting and maintaining plants.

The award was presented by Ms.M.S.Sangeetha, IAS, Madurai Collector On behalf of MRCAS Dr.M.Padmavathi, Principal MRCAS and Ms.T.Ananthavalli received the award. The Green Champion Award is a powerful reminder that individual and collective actions can lead to meaningful environmental change!

On behalf of Team MRCAS, we sincerely thank our Correspondent Madam Mrs. Valli Ramaswami,for supporting and guiding us in Green initiatives. Our sincere thanks to our Director sir Mr.T.Kalaiselvan, the man behind this project, constantly motivating and guiding us. Madurai Forest Department Mr.Arumugam, Mr Sankar, Ms.Sukanya for giving us the saplings and travelling with us in our Green Journey. Mr.Guhan for connecting and being with us throughout the journey.
