With immense pleasure, I welcome the aspiring students to pursue B.Sc. in Computer Science with specialization in Data Science and Analytics (DSA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) at MRCAS.

The Department of Computer Science has well qualified and experienced faculty including Adjunct Professor. The Department has state of the Art Classrooms and a well-furnished Computer Laboratory.  The Teaching Learning pedagogy consists of providing strong theoretical background and programming skills in Python, C, C++, R, SA, SQL, MongoDB. In addition to rigorous academics, the Department facilitates internship in IT Firms in Summer/ Winter to have exposure to latest tools and applications. Our department has signed MoU with Infosys Springboard and GuviGeek HCL for internship trainings, add on courses, certifications, and placements.

In today’s landscape where data is measured in terabytes, the significance of data analytics has escalated, as it enables us to navigate, understand, and derive meaningful insights from this vast sea of information. Careers in Data Science and Analytics are booming and it is reported that the demand for DSA professional is about 30% year on year.

AI is all around us! From Home appliances, Healthcare, Sports to Entertainment, the power of AI is immense. The demand for skilled AI and Cybersecurity professionals is estimated to be growing in the years to come. Keeping this in mind, the AI programmes are designed to fully meet the real time requirements of industry
