Dr. Aruna Kasinathan currently serves as the Vice Principal and Head of the Department of Commerce at MRCAS, Madurai. She previously worked at Karunya University, Coimbatore. Dr. K. Aruna earned her Ph.D. from Tiruvallur University and holds an M.Phil., M.B.M. (Banking Management), and M.Com from Alagappa University, Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu. She also completed the SET from Mother Teresa University.

Between 2003 and 2009, she worked as a Lead Manager at Karvy Consultancy and as a Consultant at Anand Rathi Shares and Stock Broking Ltd. With 18 years of teaching experience across various educational institutions, Dr. K. Aruna has authored a textbook on Financial System & Digital Banking in India and published eight editorial chapters in books. Her research interests include Banking, Stock Markets, Finance, and Marketing Management, and she has published 22 articles in UGC, Scopus, and Web of Science journals.

Dr. K. Aruna is a lifetime member of SEBI and the Indian Commerce Association. She has also enriched her expertise by obtaining 12 certifications from NISM, NCFM, and NPTEL. Her teaching portfolio includes Banking, Investment Management, Principles of Management, and HRM.
