The Department of Psychology at Manikam Ramaswami College Of Arts & Science (MRCAS) is happy to share that the students had their Industrial visit to Care Factory ,a social enterprise selling jute bags, cakes, breads, soaps, candles, notebooks. Care factory is an initiative taken by MS Chellamuthu Trust & Research Foundation. Every one in five of the staff were people who recovered from mental illness. The students and faculty had the opportunity to support the people by buying their products. We ordered vegetable puff from care factory as a symbol of supporting their efforts. The students understood that with vocational training people with mental illness can also contribute to our society.
