The Department of Psychology at Manikam Ramaswami College of Arts & Science hosted an insightful session on “The Evolving Scope of Psychiatry in India,” led by Dr. Vikhram, Consultant Psychiatrist and CEO of Ahana Hospitals.

Dr. Vikhram shed light on key psychiatric concerns such as mobile phone addiction and school refusal, emphasizing the importance of balancing medication, psychotherapy, and family involvement for holistic mental health care. 🌿
