Intercollegiate Symposium – Awarded Third Place in the Poster Competition

Greetings from the Department of Psychology💐
Today 15 of our students attended the intercollegiate symposium conducted by M.S Chella Muthu institute of mental Health and Rehabilitation. 6 students from both first and second years participated in the Poster competition conducted on the theme changing the narrative of suicide.
The session was very informative and educational by providing the basic understandings thata re needed to understand the present narratives in society about suicide and the ways and means to change the Narrative for a health environment for all. Students also had activity sessions which stressed the importance of being connected and being listened to.
It was day of rich experience and learning.

Our second year Psychology student Mr.Rajaram was awarded third place in the poster competition conducted as a part of the Intercollegiate symposium,
Of the 8 colleges participated( 7 students from MRCAS Participated)
Raja Ram grabbed the third place with the cash award of Rs1000.
His expressions through Art forms are always creative, we are proud that our student is creating visibility for our Department at this Professional juncture.
His work was highly commended and Our college students college were appreciated for their learning attitude and participation.
Indeed it was a proud moment.
