Changing the Narrative on Suicide

On this World Suicide Prevention month it’s important we break the stigma around this.The Department of Psychology of MRCAS will observe World Suicide Prevention day on 10^th of September,2024.

The triennial theme for World Suicide Prevention day for 2024-2026 is “Changing the Narrative on Suicide”.We want to remind you that suicide is complex and can be difficult to understand,but it is preventable.We have choose the theme”HOPE”.

Together,we @ AHAM club are planning to spread awareness and bring hope.

Students will have face painting and give 5 minutes talk in each class on”Changing the Narrative on suicide”
Distribute ribbons to all students and staff.
Poster making activity will be conducted for enrolled students in all department.
Installation of HOPE BOX near canteen so that students will be benefited.

Suicide Prevention begins with all of us.Together,we can challenge stigma,promote understanding and bring hope.Let’s change the narrative of suicide.
